This long time client of Energy Concepts from our engineering division specializes in upscale senior assisted living facilities has been adding green elements.
Their new Council Bluffs building features a 9.4 kW photovoltaic system, a solar hot water system for the domestic hot water usage, as well as a ground source heat pump system for the common areas heating and cooling.
Considering that this roof was three stories high and 32′ off the ground, the install was not for the faint of heart! Note the clean lines and the photovoltaic quick-mount pedestals for leak free roof attachment!
