This client was looking to offset costs of an indoor pool used for cross-training and had considered wind before they settled on solar thermal.

The system allows the pool to rise in temperature during the day before cooling off at night. Sunny winter days mean that the pool heater does not kick in at all.

As a result, the client was able to maximize his economic advantage by qualifying for additional tax and depreciation incentives. The horizontal profile of the system mount does decrease wind loading, and lowers the system profile from the street.
