Minnesota state park draws on the wind.

Walking the talk.

As part of their renewable energy initiative, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources installed a turbine in this wind-swept park.

Located in wind farm country close to Buffalo Ridge, the DNR recognized that wind was an optimum resource.

Oh, say, can you see.

The 120ʼ monopole tower stands against the cobalt sky with its 10 kW Bergey Excel turbine.

We believe that the Bergey company -- and, in particular, their revered 10 kW Excel -- is one of the most proven in the industry today.

With the estimated average wind speed of 12 mph at hub height, the system is expected to produce 15,000 kWh per year.

Only experts need apply.

Make no mistake. Putting in a wind generation system is quite an undertaking.

From the complex foundation and rebar to the “get it right on the ground” assembly, installing a wind turbine is best left to the experts. Even the crane lifting is not for faint of heart.
