NABCEP stands for North American Board of Certified Energy Professionals.
It is the highest certification any designer of renewable energy installations can attain.
In Wisconsin and Minnesota, having NABCEP certified installers provide your system allows you to garner a little extra reward in terms of state incentives. The thinking is that government has an interest in rewarding excellence in renewable energy projects, and looking toward long-term production results as opposed to cheap and easy installations that don’t really produce.
